The Luxembourg government is in a heated dispute with the Pirate Party, seeking to reclaim €92,000 in taxpayer money for a language app for refugees.

The National Reception Office (ONA) awarded contracts worth over €207,000 in 2016-2017 to develop the "Mobile Assisted Language Tool" (MALT) app, aiding refugees in learning Luxembourgish.

Pirate Party leader Sven Clement rebuffs the audit's claims, insisting the expenses were necessary and pre-approved.
